Lubbock has many excellent hotels from which to choose, such as those listed below. These hotels are reasonably priced, are within a short driving distance from the Sunset church, and are located in areas that are usually considered safe. Special rates (less than hotels.com) are available at the first four hotels; hotels.com was cheaper at the last five hotels listed below. (Download PDF)

Christian Homes/Apartments

A limited number of Christian homes MAY be available for workshop participants.

The dorm usage will be very minimal. We will try to accommodate those who had already requested, but we cannot guarantee anyone "free housing". If you are wanting to come to the workshop but are unable to find housing that is affordable, please contact us and we will see what we can do to help.

Caprock Casa

Cost: $35/night for 2 people, $10 per night extra per person. ($55/night for 4 people)

Caprock Casa is a 5,400 square foot home (5 bedrooms, 6 baths) that can sleep up to 17 people, typically up to 4-5 guests per room. Two of the bedrooms each have a queen size bed and two twin size beds. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed, a queen size futon and a twin size bed. The last bedroom has a queen size bed and a love seat. Each bedroom has a full private bath. The home has a shared kitchen and dining area, as well as a shared living area. The home has TV and WiFi, and guest laundry facilities are available. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided.
